MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES is 100% New Zealand owned and operated. Started in Invercargill about 40 years ago we are now based in Auckland and are still owned by a not for profit charitable trust. (Any profits are put back into the ministry throughout the country.)

MANNAFIRST is the loyalty program run by MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES. Sign up for a Mannafirst rewards membership online or at any of our store locations. All online customers automatically become Mannafirst members. Mannafirst members receive access to a wide range of benefits including discounts and vouchers:

For every dollar you spend using your Mannafirst number you will receive a voucher point. When you reach 100 or more points within a 6 month period—ending 31st January and 31st July each calendar year—we will send you a voucher by email, which can be used in store or on line. This voucher will be 5% of your qualifying sales for that time period.


It is the customer’s responsibility to request that qualifying purchases are recorded—in order to receive reward points—at the point of sale. (This will happen automatically with all online purchases.)

Product and services that have been previously discounted by 10% or more do not qualify for reward points.

Products and services purchased with gift vouchers do not qualify for reward points.

The purchase of Gift vouchers does not qualify for reward points.

Points not reaching 100 on the 31st of January or 31st of July of a calendar year will expire.

Purchases made on account do not qualify for rewards points.

Church Discounts and invoicing to an account, can now be processed through our online store for those Churches and Organizations that have received Credit Approval.

Student Discounts for Bible College Students
Discount to students is only offered to those taking recognized tertiary courses and for textbooks associated with the same qualifying tertiary courses.

Because we have no mechanism on line to authenticate Student I.D., you will need to purchase through your local Manna Store.

MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES is a New Zealand owned and operated chain of book stores.     All prices on our website are quoted in $NZD inclusive of GST, however if your primary address is outside N.Z. then prices will show everywhere as excluding GST regardless of the currency.  If you then want delivery into N.Z. then GST is added in the shopping cart.

All disputes and disagreements fall within New Zealand law and jurisdiction.

By using the shopping cart feature on the MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES website you are submitting an offer to purchase a particular product for the price notified—including the delivery and other charges and taxes—at the time you place the order.  This order will be subject to the terms and conditions that are outlined here. We may ask you to provide additional details or require you to confirm your details to enable us to process any orders placed through our website.

In certain circumstances, MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES may need to decline your order. This may happen if the Product you have requested is not available. When we have received your order, we will confirm this via email. We will then also notify you of our ability to supply your order. This will be done within a reasonable period from the time you placed the order.

Nothing in our Returns policy is intended to limit any legal rights you may have under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act or any other appropriate legislation.

Products purchased online or in store, can be returned, subject to the following conditions:

Goods (excluding CD’s DVD’s and Software) can be exchanged for other goods, or a Gift voucher, provided proof of purchase is presented and goods are returned in original condition within 14 days of the date of purchase.


If you have ordered a product online and subsequently changed your mind, only the price of the product can be refunded. Any delivery and associated fees are unable to be refunded. Any costs i.e. freight, in returning the product is the purchaser’s responsibility.

Any order may be canceled up until the time of dispatch i.e. if the order is delayed, without any costs being incurred and a full refund will be made.

If goods purchased online were delivered damaged or faulty please contact us on and we will arrange their return and refund your purchase in full.

If goods were purchased in-store, please return the goods with appropriate proof of purchase receipt, to your nearest Manna Christian Store for replacement or refund, within 14 days of original purchase.

Please note: When a refund is granted, we will refund the original purchase price via the method of payment indicated on the receipt. (E.g. if the purchase was made using a credit card, the refund will be made to your credit card account.)

MANNA CHRISTIAN STORE GIFT VOUCHERS can be purchased in-store and will soon be available for purchase online. Vouchers can be redeemed in-store and where applicable some vouchers will be redeemable online. Vouchers for redemption online will be clearly marked. Manna Vouchers have an expiry date of 1 year from the date of purchase. This expiry date may be extended at the manager’s discretion in-store only.

Other Vouchers, that Manna may issue such as the Manna loyalty reward voucher, will have the expiry date (which will be less than 1 year) clearly shown on the voucher.


MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES only collects personal information necessary for carrying out the normal functions of our business; this includes but is not limited to:

Supplying you with the goods, services or information that you have requested from us.

Processing your order though our Web site, telephone, mail or email facilities and to provide you with any information regarding your order.

Tracking your sales so that we can reward you if you are a Mannafirst rewards member.

Improving your shopping experience.

If you do not want your personal information tracked, any sales will need to be done through a local Store where the sale is on a cash basis.

MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES takes your privacy seriously and remains the sole caretaker of the information collected and is committed to compliance with the Information Privacy Act.

We will not sell, share, rent or otherwise reveal this information to any third party unless it is a contractor who assists in the operation of our business. An example would be the supplying of your information to a mailing house to enable the delivery of our mail order catalogues. If this is the case, we will prohibit the third party from using your personal information except for the specific purpose for which we supply it.

 We would also disclose information if required by law or for the purpose of investigating misuse of our services.

Both our in-store and on-line Mannafirst signup forms contain a checkbox offering you the opportunity to opt out of receiving our email and/or mail catalogues. By submitting the form without ticking the aforementioned box you are indicating that you wish to receive email correspondence and/or mail catalogues, which will notify you of information about new releases, special offers and other promotions.

Your email address and password enable us to verify you are a registered customer and to help us to ensure your personal information is kept secure. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password (password applies to online shopping only). When you first connect as an existing customer, or when you indicate that you have forgotten your password we will email you a new password.  We will not email out your existing password.

Since email addresses are used to log on to the web site, only one email address can be used for one client – the same email address cannot be used for multiple clients.

If at any point you no longer wish to receive electronic (or other) correspondence from us, both the MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES website and promotional emails provide the opportunity to unsubscribe from our electronic (or other) communications. Or you can contact us directly on and we will remove you from our mailing list.

Every endeavor has been made to ensure that your personal information is protected from misuse and loss from unauthorized access.

Information submitted via our Web site is submitted via a secure server, which uses standard technology to ensure your information is kept private and protected.

All payments made through the Web site are made through ANZ eGate and as such no Credit Card details are accessed or handled by MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES directly.


DVD Regions
All DVD’s are zoned into six geographical regions within the World. New Zealand and Australia are in region 4. Most players sold in New Zealand will be region 4 specific as well as Region 0 (All regions). All DVD players should be able to play both regions; although there is a small chance some players may not be able to play Region 0. Non-region specific DVD players will play discs from all regions.

Most of the DVD’s sold at Manna are Region 4 and Region 0. However some Special imports are Region 1(USA & Canada). If you are unsure about the region of a DVD, please check the back of the packet or ask one of our staff. All our DVD’s are PAL – this is the DVD format for New Zealand and Australia.

New Zealand has strict Classification rules¸ where all DVD’s apart from those that are Exempt, need to have a Classification Sticker. We have shown the Classification given in brackets at the end of the title. Ie {E} – Exempt. A full list of Classifications is available from

MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES takes no legal responsibility for the views expressed by artists’ merchandisers and product providers retailed through MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES both online and at physical store locations.

Every attempt has been made to accurately depict (correct picture and text) for each item online, however MANNA CHRISTIAN STORES accepts no legal responsibility if the data provided by another provider is inaccurate.

All products are dispatched from our warehouse in Auckland.

In Stock – this stock is either in our Warehouse, in one of our Stores or is due in the warehouse and can be shipped to you within the time shown.

The availability of stock at the warehouse and in-store can change quickly, especially if the stock levels are below 5. If this happens we may not be able to fill your order within the time indicated. We will notify you.

If an order is placed exceeding the quantity we have on hand, there will be a delay before the balance of the order can be supplied. We will notify you.

If stock is coming from more than one source and there is only 2 -3 days wait until all stock arrives, stock on hand will be held until all stock arrives.

New Stock Arriving – the time indicated is what it normally takes to order and receive this product from our suppliers.

Any items that are in your order, that are not in stock will be back ordered and supplied as soon as possible from either a Manna Store or from the publisher or supplier. No additional freight costs will be incurred.


All product that is shown as In-Stock, will be picked, packed and shipped within the time frames given. All products are shipped from our warehouse but may be obtained from other Manna Stores.

An email will be sent to you advising you when your order is placed and you will receive a second email when your order is shipped. This will include your tracking number so that you can check the progress of your order online.

This information is based on the time line provided by the Freight provider. In rare circumstances the Freight provider may encounter delays that are beyond our control.

All packages are traceable and an email will be sent out at the time of dispatch with the Tracking number and web details.

Free freight is offered to any non – rural address in New Zealand on all purchases $40 or more for orders placed online. This is an online freight rate and may differ from freight rates offered through our Stores. A surcharge of $4.50 for any Rural Delivery will apply.

All purchases, freighted to a non-rural address in New Zealand, under $40 will incur a freight cost of $5.95. A surcharge of $4.50 for any Rural Delivery will apply.

Note: All freight needs to be sent to a physical address (not a P O Box number).

At present we cannot offer automated shipping rates on line. We plan to offer this service in the near future for Australia and the Pacific Islands.
